The Minister of health, Mohamed Nazirou O. Hamed, affirmed eight people’s death due to Rift Valley Fever (RVF), which emerged on the 14th of last month.
The Minister said that thirteen cases had been confirmed since the disease’s appearance in the regions of Taganat, Brakna, Assaba, and the two Hodh.
Since the confirmation of the disease cases, the authorities have undertaken vaccination campaigns of herds.
