Hodh Chargui: « donations of Emirates» hands over 40 housing units to the inhabitants of Daly Kemba

In the locality of Daly Kemba, Hodh Chargui, The organization « donations of Emirates», handed over, on Tuesday,40 housing units, one school, a mosque, a medical clinic, an artesian well, and a room for alphabet braille for people affected by blindness.

According to the United Arab Emirates ambassador in Mauritania, this project is destined to alleviate the suffering of these populations and enable them and their children to live with dignity.

The Emirati diplomat said that the credit for the realization of this project goes to Cheikha Chemsa bint Hamdan Al Nahyane, highlighting the quality and the depth of relations between Mauritania and the United Arab Emirates.

For his part,  the president of the regional council of Hodh Chargui, Mohamed O. Tijani, said that by steering future projects towards health, education, drinking water, development of seasonal and irrigated agriculture, and social housing would have significant repercussions on the region. He added that the new projects would provide employment opportunities for young people and provide an auto-sufficiency in agricultural products.

The ceremony took place in the presence of the Minister of Housing, Urbanism, and Land Reclamation, Khadijetou mint Bouka, the assistant governor of Hodh Chargui, Mohamed Lemine O. El Houcein O. Ejih, and the ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Mauritania.
