Ex-president Confronts with former collaborators

According to Sahara Medias sources, the former president, Mohamed O. Abdel Aziz, was confronted on Sunday evening with former officials who held positions during his rule. The former ministers and officials admitted to receiving direct instructions from the ex-president during the confrontation, which took place between each one of them alone with Ould Abdel Aziz.

The figures that were confronted with the ex-president comprise the  two former prime ministers, Yahya O. Hademine and Mohamed Salem O. Béchir, the former directors of the National, Industrial and Mining Company (SNIM), Mohamed Abdallahi O. Oudaa and Hassena O. Ely, and the former minister of economy and finance, Mokhtar O. Djay.

According to the sources, the ministers exposed the files, of which they ‘’received instructions for execution from ex-president’, but the former president remained silent throughout the confrontation period, which lasted 30 to 45 minutes with each personality.
